Superb set of 10 Chippendale revival chairs of exceptional quality.

Circa 1860

This exceptional set of hand carved chairs in the Chippendale manner exudes quality with carved and pierced splat backs, serpentine front seat rails, blind fret front legs and splayed back legs. The two carvers have wonderful carved outswept arms and supports.

The weight of timber, craftsmanship and carving is of the finest quality; this is a truly outstanding set of chairs.
